My name is Anne LaRoche. I grew up in Faribault, MN. I graduated St. Olaf College with a History degree and had no idea what to do next. After working in the wilderness on the border of Canada and trying to live North Dakota, I eventually went back to school for Library and Information Sciences at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
I accepted the position as Director of the Frances L Simek Memorial Library and finished my degree online after moving to Medford. I am thankful for all Medford has given me, I get to do what I love surrounded by good friends. As a librarian my favorite book changes with the day, but I live for smart comedies. Life needs more spicy personalities and coffee breaks.
My name is Ben Gelhaus. I was born and raised in Medford, WI. After graduating in 2005 I went to Undergrad in Eau Claire at UWEC. It was a great experience and a very fun undergrad. I graduated in 2009 with a Major in Biology and Minor in Chemistry. I got into Dental school in Milwaukee at Marquette University after my senior year. After 4 years of Dental School I graduated in 2013 and moved back to Medford. After one year of living here I was fortunate to meet my girlfriend, Courtney Graff at a Tennis League here in Medford. I’m a member of the Wisconsin National Guard as a Dentist in the Wisconsin Medical Detachment. I enjoy Hunting, Fishing, Camping, and of course, watching the Green Bay Packers. I enjoy being outside as much as I can and I’m a big Do-It-Yourselfer. I’m always accepting new patients and enjoy working with, giving back and helping out members of the community with their dental needs.
Courtney L. Graff is the owner of Schmiege & Graff Law Firm. Courtney’s main areas of practice include representation of Taylor County Human Services, Taylor County Board of Supervisors and county departments; advising and representing the City of Medford, and family law. After work she enjoys coaching the Phillips High School girls’ soccer team and traveling.
